I am a mature bride and plus size (hourglass shape) and this dress was perfect! Every wedding dress style seems strapless now! Even though I bought the dress in a standard size, it fit better than I thought it would with only minimal alterations needed. The dress is simple and elegant and hangs well. I was very satisfied with the quality and weight of the satin and lining. My fear of "lumps and bumps" showing isn't an issue. I especially like that the scoop neck allows for a suportive bra to be worn, the arm openings are cut high and don't gap and the draping in front hides tummy. However, I don't think it necessary for this particular style to have a built-in bra and my seamstress will be taking it out. Other than that, I am very pleased with the purchase.
